We have three seasons here in the Philippines(our seasons are Dry, Wet and Hot). Although we don't have the most commonly known four seasons, we present a fitted cap that we feel is a Fall-Winter type deal.

Hey folks! It's that time of the year again. A single day when the streets of Manila gets cleared of all traffic, the rebel forces in Mindanao take a day of R&R from warfare and urban crime has been reported to be non-existent. If only Manny could some how bottle his mystic captivating powers and export it all over the globe. The world will be a better place for sure. Anyway, all that aside, what it boils down to is another great show by the living legend and pride of the Philippines, as he faces-off with Juan Manuel Marquez for the 3rd time.

And if you've been following us on Facebook you already know that WIP has been preparing for this fight when we leaked plans for the Pac-Q 'Hope' cap. 

Now the wait is over!

The Pac-Q 'Hope' marks another milestone for WIP. This cap represents a lot of things and we want to share what they are. Hopefully you get the full weight of what this project means to us.

No. 1 - Pac-Q 'Hope' is the 11th edition of this design series. In the image bellow we have nine Pac-Q's from 2008 till present. What's not pictured is Pac-Q number 10 aka Pac-Q 'Sugar'.  

No. 2 - This cap supports a great cause which is Gawad Kalinga. This is our second WIP Fundraiser for GK and a percentage of the sales goes to support GK's Youth Sports Programs. And to make it even sweeter, Manny announced his full support for GK prior to the Mosely fight. So, we're pretty stoked to be helping out GK along side the Champ. The Yellow and Black color way actually comes from GK as it is their signature color. It's also the color of Manny's gloves.

No. 3 - Snapback! Yep, we've switched-up from fitteds to snapback for this one. All ten releases prior to this were fitteds. 

No. 4 - What really defines this cap aside from all the things mentioned above is this cap marks our official tie-up with Manny Pacquio. We've partnered-up with Manny's flagship store called the Team Pacquiao Store. We've gone from a fan tribute cap with no affiliation to finally being recognized as a Pacquiao product. How dope is that? And to commemorate this event, we've dropped the name 'Pac-Q' and are now calling this 'Pac-Man'. When you get yours you will see the name change indicated on the Certificate of Authenticity that comes with the cap.

If that wasn't enough, we added a tiny detail for the stocks available at the Team Pacquiao store. It makes it a little different and just a tad bit more special from the ones you'll get here at wipcaps.com or thru our partner stores. The Team Pacquiao or MP version includes the official Team MP logo tag on the sweatband. We told you it's official! 

So that sums it up. We've come along way with this little guy and we HOPE to continue the legacy. Unbeknownst to most people, we've been soft selling the Pac-Man 'Hope' for the last couple of days. Some lucky folks get to rock it during the fight tomorrow. Sorry if you didn't know about it but everything's good as you should be able to order yours online starting tomorrow.

We're proud to introduce a collab thats been in the back burner for a good minute or two. Straight out of San Diego, California USA is Outsiders BMX, the purveyors and curators of all things BMX. What started-off as a tight crew of like-minded heads who were deep into old school BMXing, took the passion further and founded Outsiders.

The Outsiders BMX x WIP snapback will be available in San Diego in a couple of days but the Manila heads get to enjoy another HeadStart release. We'll have a booth at the YARD SALE event and FlipTop will be selling some at the Zoning battle. Both events happening on October 22 Saturday.
