Happy Halloween! The D.O.D cap is WIP CAP’S celebratory piece for the Day of the Dead. Dia de los Muertos in Mexico is celebrated much like the Araw ng mga Patay in the Philippines. So in celbrating the memory of our loved ones that have passed, the Wip team has come out with the D.O.D. cap as a treat for you guys and gals! The D.O.D is also the group’s first collaboration with up and coming Filipino graphic designer, YSO.

A week after Manny Pacquiao won his coveted 7th title. Another Filipino, Efren Peñaflorida, was named CNN's Hero of the Year for making mobile class rooms to help educate street children in the Philippines. A week after that, an estimated 58 people were killed in the bloodiest election and political massacre in recent years. 58 innocent people, mostly women and free-press journalists were killed in Southern Mindanao on the way to file for candidacy against the current ruling party in that region, a powerful warlord clan with close ties to the President of the Philippines, no less, was said to ambush the convoy of civilians with more than a hundred heavily armed goons. They dug shallow graves for the ravaged people and tried to bury them while inside their vehicles so as to save time and to leave no trace.

The Wip team mourns and condemns this tragic event. We pray the victims of the Maguindanao Massacre find their justice. Please take a moment of silence and of prayer for their souls.

A few hours ago, Manny Pacquiao through Bob Arum, announced the OK-ing of the March 13 Super Fight against Floyd Mayweather Jr. In 13 weeks we are going to see a Blockbuster. They will be fighting at 147 Pounds in a venue to be announced. This is gonna be epic and the Wip team is totally hyped about it! We'll be coming up with something HUGE for this one.
