WIPLIFE2014 was a blast! We want to thank our staff, artists, performers, party-goers and our media crew for doing a great job handling the event with us. This was definitely a step up for us from last year’s WIPLIFE2013, and this year, we really wanted to give you all a stage and a venue to shine.

The black and whites were taken from Undefined Lifestyle, led by fellow wiphead, PK Gonzales.
The event happened with and for our loyal WIPHEADS, who have been supporting us since the beginning. We recognized familiar faces and were greeted with warmth by lots of new ones, too! And we hope that WIPLIFE2014 helped you guys get to know us a little more, and what we support and aim for as a lifestyle company based outta Manila.
We had our WIP booth set up, where you could try some of our new designs on and rock ’em at the event. We also dropped our ARTIFICE RECORDS snapbacks, and our LEGIT MISFITZ caps the same night!
Pinas Lowridaz, founded by our Executive Assistant, Gim Cacatian, put up some ill low-rider bike displays throughout the venue.
We had Live Art courtesy of the local graff artist EGG FIASCO, whose style and flare attracted the attention of many WIPheads who were able to appreciate his fiery and colorful art coming to life.
Negatibo heated the stage up with his latest tracks!
And LDP performed together with Ron Henley to bring us some of that nice new-school Hip Hop flavour that we all know and love.
We had beatbox battles and performances courtesy of our homies from Purevox BeatBox Battle League.
And we had rap battles and performances from the WIPheads and the WIPHEADS ALL-STARS! We’re grateful to have been able to give you guys the space to express your creativity and music!
Of course, we had our awarding for the winners of our WIPLIFE2014 photo contest, where the most creative contestants won their limited-edition Golden W’s as a thank you from WIP CAPS. We also gave away prizes from our awesome sponsors, NO FEAR, COMPLEX LIFESTYLE STORE, SOLESLAM MANILA and CREATIVE RECREATION–plus we raffled off items from VICTORIA COURT and bonus giveaways from ZOO YORK!
Some of our lucky winners and special guests also received gift certificates from URBAN ATHLETICS, SOLE ACADEMY and FLOWHOUSE MANILA.
It was truly a night of giving back, and giving away, as we have received so much in return from all our partners and supporters throughout the years. We got to raffle off some very rare items to those who registered for our WIPHEADS MEMBERSHIP CARDS at the event, which will be active very soon!
GREYHOUNDZ mashed it up hardcore-style! We couldn’t take our eyes off the stage. This band fucking rocks!!! Make sure to support MEDISINA too! We’re not done with our collab releases just yet!
We had DJ D’TECH of MISCELLANEOUS on the 1’s and 2’s all night. This guy knows his selections for real. His tunes provided the vibes for the night while all the festivities were going on. BIG UP D’TECH!
Last, but definitely not the least, we had a surprise Grand Finale performance from none other than the Legit Misfitz themselves, rocking their caps for the first time on stage! We want to thank Jhego for coming out even after a busy day at work, and MC Dash as well for doing a great job hosting the event for us!
They were joined on stage by Dancehall Queen from Japan, Phattymaria, who gave us a playfully sexy dance number during their performance of ‘JABONGGA‘, a classic hit from the 90’s that rocked the party OG style. It was such a treat to see these two seasoned artists doing their thing!
To sum it all up, WIPLIFE2014 was a huge celebration, and we want to thank everyone for being a part of it. We truly have a lot of respect for everyone involved in the production of this memorable night, and we hope to keep it going in the years to come.
Please support our original and authentic products so we can keep throwin parties like this every year! Don’t support the fake shit! These stories, partnerships and communities are real, and that’s something that speaks for itself. This stuff is legit.
