We attended Banghayan Dos, a benefit event by Junkie Rebels Crew last February 27 at Mow’s Bar. To say the least it was a good night for the underground scene with around 300 heads in attendance.
Combining the words Banggaan (clash) + bangayan (squabble). Banghayan was founded this year (2025).
The event consists of rap battles alongside freestyle rap, live bands and hip-hop, spoken poetry, and pop-ups for young creatives and other underground artists.

2nd rap battle winner KALOY won a WIP Caps W Flow S/B (Snapback)
Dozen people checking out the pop-up booths
One eighty, an all skaters band stirring the crowd with beatdown hardcore punk-rock Valkal style
Someone got hit during the mosh pit
Freestyle jam, everyone vibin'
BONUZ-O vs DRAC was the last rap battle. It was tight and intense. Everyone was locked in.
