Being a WIPhead isn't always about how many WIP caps you own. Sometimes, it's about working with what you have to give the things you love in life more meaning and sentimental value.
We're proud to introduce Japs Sing: our youngest WIPhead. He started collecting when he was only 12 years old by saving his allowance money to buy the caps that he saw his favorite local artists wear during their shows and music videos. Now at the age of 17, Japs represents the next generation of WIPheads that have grown up to be conscious, creative and playful through their love for music and style.
He's always been passionate about Hip-Hop music, even writing his own Tagalog raps and rocking WIP to give him confidence during his performances. His fascination for streetwear and lyricism even shows in how he creates poetic captions on his social media posts. He proves that no matter how ordinary, there's always inspiration to be found in our day-to-day lives.
Japs is also one of the more active members on several WIPheads groups and the WIP forum. He's always enthusiastic about sharing his thoughts to maintain a personal connection with the brand and his friends. His down-to-earth nature and unbridled support has definitely made him stand out among the rest. We're more than happy to give this kid the spotlight he deserves for the second feature from our ongoing WIPheads collectors series.
